Mind in a New Perspective

Our minds work like files.

As we grow and learn, we’re creating files in our mind and our brain is the filing cabinet or our hard drive. Files on religion, politics, etc. These are the files that are usually set in stone and can’t be persuaded otherwise. Believing one way is the right or better way for so long, despite any new information, we usually will stick with what we know and disregard it. If someone speaks on say politics, our minds roam around our brain until we find that file & automatically pulls out our points of view. It’s a reflex.

When we learn things we aren’t familiar with, new files are created. As time goes on and we understand certain things more deeply, we add on to the existing files.

Point being, create as many new files as you can. Learning is fucking cool. Abuse it.
